It's been almost a year and a half since my last journal post! WHAT. That long?

I have a ("good") excuse, though. Since I was last "active" outside of being a ninja, I've gotten a boring adult-type, full-time job. Thanks to that, however, I've had a little money I can set aside for cosplaying and going to cons again. So, I'm trying to work on including that here and on my cosplay.com. I've taken a lot of older works and put them in storage or scraps since I'm not into having old work I'm not proud of being being on display.

On a related note, I've talked to a lot of friends who've deactivated their accounts in the last two years here, which makes this feel a bit like talking to a void now, sadly. I don't have any plans to deactivate myself, though. If I want to interact more personally & less void-ly, I use tumblr and email or whatever else anyway.

Hopefully, I'll have some new things to add to my gallery again like progress shots or work from costuming construction projects I've done/had help with - or something to liven up my dA at least. I haven't felt particularly creative or motivated to create anything, but I'm hoping to change that up too. I've only just started doodling at my desk again, so here's to attempts at not being stagnant in my life outside of work and online.
